Fun Things I've done

Well, I used to rent equipment for light and sound parties when I was a teen ager. That got me started in the music stuff. So after a while I not only played the bass guitar, but also participated in the recording of 7 albums from different local groups in México City. All this while I was in High School and even after the 1st year of University. Then I started as a DJ for a club then called "Yil"; after which I moved over to another one called "Trastorno". The latter I joined due to a friend starting up this club and inviting me to join. I had to quit after I got a "Real" job by the end of University. I started travelling and that prevented me of attending the night club any more.

Studies

I studied Electronics Engineering at the La Salle University in México City.

At work...

I have worked in Ericsson for 11 years. First in Mexico City from 1989 to 1991, then in Saltillo from '91 to '94. At work I started as a Software Designer for Digital Telephone Exchanges Control programs. Today I am a Business Manager handling Mobile E-Commerce Solutions and Telecom Management Consulting Services for the Americas.

Some events are worth mentioning during my career, like the creation a local support group, which I managed for 4 years while in Saltillo. Afterwards I also created the simulations support group there as well, and managed it for a couple of years before moving to Sweden. During that time we had the visit of the President of Mexico to inaugurate the expansion of our premises; I had the honor to present and run a simulations demonstration for the President, the Governor and other local authorities. Short after that, my family and I moved to Karlstad, Sweden and lived there during '98-'99. There I worked as Product Marketing Manager with Simulation Systems for Telecom Equipment. After almost 2 years, I returned to Saltillo, where I currently reside. with my wife Mery, my son Carlos and my daughter Idaena.

I have a beautiful wife named Mery, and 2 kids: my son Carlos and my daughter Idaena.
